CHANGES IN SCHEDULES MAY BE FREE
December 20, 2008
Big storms across the country are causing serious delays for airlines customers and some of the carriers are allowing those whose schedules are affected by adverse weather to make changes to their schedules without having any fees added to the ticket prices.
According to an Associated Press release Delta airlines, Air Trans Airways, and U.S. Airways have issued statements making the offer to their customers who are experiencing weather delays. These offers were restricted to cities and states which were hit by severe winter weather and did not include changes to the point of origin or destination for the affected flights.
If you find yourself in a situation where travel plans are interrupted by winter weather you may be entitled to make changes to your schedule without any increase in the cost of your flight. It is very important to keep the lines of communication open with your carrier if you find yourself at the mercy of severe winter weather and changes to your travel plans are necessary.
CHEAP TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR TRAVEL TO PHOENIX
December 17, 2008
Vikings fans from Minnesota who wanted to come to the Valley of the Sun for the Cardinals vs Vikings game were treated to some great football and some really cheap tickets for air travel. The roundtrip fare from Minnesota to Phoenix was available with awesome prices as low as $225.00 per person. I talked with several fans who stayed in the West Valley for the game and they told me they had gone hunting for cheap tickets a few days ago and didn’t specify which airlines they wanted to use and were able to be fairly flexible with the days of travel. They had gone to www.Cheaptickets.com and were able to find a roundtrip package that required only one lay over for the trip from the Twin Cities. They had to change airlines with that lay over but the cheap tickets made it worth the extra efort.
While it is true that the price for air travel is inching upward daily, if you are flexible with the days of travel and are willing to compare the prices of the different carriers you can still find cheap tickets to most destinations.
